GROWTH Internship Program

Guided Real World Orientation and Work Training at the Hospital Program

growth interns

The internship program began in 2020 as a response to provide more access and opportunities in clinical and other hospital positions for youth, in order to increase diversity across our organization. The program objective is to work toward building a healthcare career pipeline with the communities of Benton Harbor and Niles, while helping students develop a diverse set of skills for the healthcare workforce. The seven-week program includes a combination of guided real-world experience and work training at the hospital.

Students should be dependable, punctual, enthusiastic to learn, willing to collaborate, and have a positive attitude. The program runs Monday through Friday. Students will be paid $15 per hour during internship hours.
